The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: Site work and new construction of an educational facility. As of January 16, 2025, a general contractor has not yet been selected for this project. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released. The Russell County Board of Education project consists of new bus garage and new athletic fieldhouse. The site is located at 2258 S. US Hwy 127, Russell Springs, KY 42642. A certified check, payable to the Russell County Board of Education, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to 5% of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. Successful bidders will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. Bids received after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids will be returned unopened to the bidders. Any bid not submitted on the proper form shall not be considered.
