Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bellevue, Washington. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Consultants will be considered for the Eastrail – Mountains to Sound Greenway Regional Trails Connection project. Project Description The work to be performed by the Consultant consists of preparing preliminary engineering design, and developing 30%, 60%, 90%, 100%, and bid ready design plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) for the project. The proposed improvements include the construction of a multi-use path on the west side of 118th Ave SE between I-90 and SE 32nd St, and providing a new at-grade walkway on the south side of SE 32nd St between 118th Ave SE and Eastrail. The major features of the project are as follows: Construct a multi-use pathway along with associated retaining wall, planter strip with irrigation, curb, and gutter Resurface and restripe all roadway within the project limits Install a new RRFB crossing at the intersection of 118th Ave SE and SE 32nd St Construct new curb ramps and marked crosswalk at the south leg of the intersection of 118th Ave SE and SE 32nd St Construct a new at-grade walkway on the southern shoulder of SE 32nd St Other improvements and work associated with the project include, but are not limited to, site preparation, erosion and sediment control, storm drainage system, flow control and water quality facilities (if needed), environmentally sensitive area impact mitigation, franchise utilities relocation (if needed), irrigation, landscaping, channelization, retaining walls, illumination, intelligent transportation systems, signing, traffic control, and other mitigation as required. See Attachment “A” of the full RFQ document available on the Shared Procurement Portal for more detailed Scope of Work information This agreement is anticipated to begin in January 2025 and will be for approximately 15 months in duration. The City reserves the right to retain the services of the successful firm(s) for any subsequent phases [right of way (R/W), construction (CN)] associated with this project.
