Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Groton, Connecticut. Working plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
**As of January 30, 2025, project is on hold. No definite date for the rebid.** Questions Regarding this project should be directed to Mary Hill, 860-446-4129, no later than November 22, 2024. The City is requesting proposals for the exterior siding for four (4) buildings and the replacement of shingled roofs on three (3) buildings and six (6) pavilions located within the Park - at 155 Meridian Street, Groton, Connecticut. Restroom 1 (central area of Park) o Remove and repair any rotted woodwork from gable; prepare and install decorative trim work and vinyl inlay; paint all trim and soffits to match decorative vinyl. o Remove existing roof shingles, repair any rotted wood and install new roofing materials o Remove and install new gutter downspouts. Restroom 2 (Park Avenue) o Prepare and repair existing exterior; prepare and install vinyl siding (to match existing siding on Press Boxes) until gable; remove and repair any rotted woodwork from gable; prepare and install decorative trim work and vinyl inlay; paint all trim and soffits to match vinyl. o Remove existing roof shingles, repair any rotted wood and install new roofing materials o Install two (2) exterior lights, one above each restroom entrance.
