PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Concrete Sauk Valley Road (#8000) at MP 13.3: This Contract provides for the repair of Concrete Sauk Valley Road, the South Osterman Creek Culvert, and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the 2025 Standard Specifications. Includes, but is not limited to: Repair and rehabilitation of the existing culvert to restore structural integrity and hydraulic capacity. Major work elements include excavation and removal of damaged culvert sections; installation of new culvert structure; placement of streambed aggregate; roadway and shoulder restoration; installation of erosion and sediment control measures; and implementation of temporary traffic control. The Work shall be completed in accordance with the plans, specifications, and applicable permits. BID GUARANTY: No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a surety company bid bond, or a certified or cashier's check payable to the order of Skagit County for a sum not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. A Contract Bond covering performance and payment will be required with the contract. Washington State Prevailing Wage Rates apply to this contract and bidders are advised to consider this charge when tabulating bids. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The Engineer's Estimate Range is $1,947,658 to $2,153,006.
