Excerpt from Agreement between DC 16 and the independent Drywall Contractors of Northern Nevada SECTION 1 -- The scope of work covered by this Agreement shall include (but not be limited to) all work operations, including distribution to the point of application, as follows: (a) Work or services pertaining to the preparation, spotting, pointing, detailing, flushing, sanding and finishing of interior and/or exterior gypsum, drywall, thin wall, concrete, steel, wood and plaster surfaces, spackling of all surfaces where adhesive materials are used; and all drywall pointing, taping and finishing. (b) Work or services pertaining to the application of all finish or flushing materials regardless of method of application or type of surface on which materials are applied, including but not limited to texture and simulated acoustic materials of all types and the application of radiant heat fill and steel fireproofing materials. (c) Work or services pertaining to the installation of protective coverings and masking prior to the application of finish materials. (d) The operation and care of all taping tools and texturing equipment used in the finishing and texturing of drywall and other surfaces including brushes, rollers, spray texturing equipment, miscellaneous hand, mechanical, and power tools, and the operation and maintenance of compressors required in the finishing and texturing of such surfaces. (e) No limitation shall be placed on the work covered by this Agreement by reason of the surface, type of material or purpose for which the materials used are designed or intended. (f) The cleanup of all materials and debris occasioned by any job operation at the site of construction, alteration, or repair undertaken whether such operation occurs on the interior or exterior of a building structure. 1. Setting, operating or tending to portable drilling rig machinery and related equipment to drill wells; 2. Extending stabilizing jackscrews to support and level a drilling rig; 3. Installing water well pumps; 4. Drillings wells for industrial water supplies, irrigation water supplies or water supplies for any other purpose; dewatering or other similar purposes; exploration; hole drilling for geologic and hydrologic information; and core drilling for geologic information. This specification covers the application of a new wearing surface texture for Plexipave Tennis Courts and new or existing asphalt concrete tennis courts that have a sound, well-drained base of adequate thickness and stability. Existing surfaces should be properly sloped for good drainage, and free from cracks. The process consists of the repair of any minor depressions, followed by application of the Plexipave System. NOTE: The success of the all-weather characteristics of resurfacing is dependent on a sound base (with good drainage) and asphalt concrete meeting the requirements of The National Asphalt Paving Association and the U.S. Tennis Court and Track Builders Association. Surface variation should not exceed 1/8 inch in ten feet. when measured in any direction with a straightedge and a slope of 1 inch in 10 feet, all in one plane. After completion of the Asphalt Pavement, the surface shall be allowed to cure for at least fourteen (14) days in normal summer conditions before application of subsequent athletic coating systems. Extend an additional equal number of days during cool (less than 60 degrees F) weather conditions. It shall be responsibility of Tennis Court Surfacing installer to approve surface for application of materials and surface and temperatures meet manufacturers guidelines.
