Facility Maintenance The Oregon State Fire Marshal is soliciting quotes to establish a multi-year service contract to perform facility maintenance on an as-needed basis. Services are anticipated to begin upon execution of a contract. The not-to-exceed amount of the Contract will be $150,000. The Bidder shall provide on-site facilities support services at the Oregon State Fire Marshal headquarters and warehouse. Services shall include, but are not limited to: General handyman work such as picture hanging. Bidder must furnish the tools or equipment necessary for the contracted labor or services. Light construction and repair work such as drywall patching and insulation replacement. Office maintenance that includes physical labor such as mounting whiteboards and working at height with ladders. Deliver turnkey facilities maintenance solutions. Emergency water shut off, plumbing, and or electrical services. Understand pitfalls and work collaboratively with external resources to resolve complex problems. Navigating permitting processes with the City, County, and State. The services outlined herein do not constitute an exhaustive list of all services that may be requested or required. Additional services will be agreed upon between Bidder and Agency. Bidders shall have the skill and knowledge possessed by well-informed members of its industry, trade or profession and Bidders will apply that skill and knowledge with care and diligence to perform the work in a professional manner and in accordance with standards prevalent in Bidder's industry, trade or profession. Question Deadline 11/20/2024 at 12:00 PM PT Questions and Requests for Clarification: All questions and requests for clarification regarding this RFQ must be submitted in writing via e-mail or through electronically and must be received. Location Contractor must be able to service Salem locations, to include: OSFM Headquarters located at 3991 Fairview Industrial Dr SE, Salem, OR 97302. OSFM Warehouse located at 4080 Ree d Rd SE Ste 110, Salem, OR 97302. Award: Agency will select the Bidder whose quote will best serve the interests of the Agency, in accordance with ORS 279B.070(4). Agency will consider price as well as considerations including, but not limited to, experience and expertise. Agency's ability to award contract is subject to review and signature of contractor's terms and conditions. Agency may require additional terms and conditions to be included in the contract. If Agency and selected Bidder is unable to negotiate mutually acceptable terms and conditions within 30 days, the Agency may stop negotiations and proceed with the second-best Bidder, and so on. The awarded bidder will be awarded a Contract for Services in a form substantially similar to the Sample Contract for Services attached as Exhibit B. Agency may negotiate some parts of the contract terms and conditions with the successful Bidder, including, but not limited to, the Statement of Work. Agency may award all or a portion of the Services requested, at its sole discretion.
