Renovation of a multi-residential development in Dexter, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

The Housing Authority of the City of Dexter, Missouri is accepting bid proposals for CFP Modernization Project: Bathroom Renovations. Replacement of all bathroom fixtures, showers, and accessories, flooring, trim, and paint in 11 dwelling units, conversion of tubs into showers in 3 dwelling units, and the replacement of water shut off valves in 50 dwelling units. Location: Bathroom work will take place at Site 1 and valve replacement will take place at Site 2 as shown on site maps in the bid documents. In accordance with Clause No. 9, Bid Guarantee, of the Instructions to Bidders, all bids must be accompanied by a negotiable Bid Guarantee in the form of a certified check or bank draft payable to the Housing Authority of the City of Dexter, U.S. Government Bonds at par value, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent 5% of the bid. The surety company must be authorized to do business in the state where the project is located and must be acceptable to the Government. If the Bid Guarantee is not submitted with the bid, the bid will be rejected. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds, all in accordance with the Clause No. 10, Assurance of Completion, of the Instruction to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to have and maintain General Liability and Vehicle Liability Insurance each with a combined single limit in the amount of One Million Dollars, and Workman's Compensation Insurance according to the Laws of the State of Missouri. Attention is called to the provision for equal employment opportunity and payment of not less than the minimum wages as set forth in the Bid Package. Federal Wage Rates bound in these specifications shall be the prevailing wages. State Wage Rates are not applicable, in that any State Wage Rate that exceeds the corresponding Federal Wage Rate is inapplicable and shall not be enforced for HUD Public Housing.
