All Bids must be accompanied by an 10% bid bond in the form of (a) lawful monies of the United States; (b) a cashier s check, certified check, bank money order or bank draft, in any case drawn and issued by a national Banking association located in the State of Montana; (c) a Bid bond or bonds executive by a surety corporation authorized to do business in the State of Montana. These securities will be forfeited to the Butte-Silver Bow City-County Government as liquidated damages if the requirements in the way of contract are not entered into within fifteen (15) days after the date of award by the Council of Commissioners. Federal Excise Tax should not be included in the Bids as Butte-Silver Bow City-County is exempt from it.
