This Project Involves the Replacement of Montgomery County Bridge No. 38 (W. Moreland Avenue) Over a Branch of Pennypack Creek in Upper Moreland Township and the Borough of Hatboro. Project Duration: the Contractor Shall Have Nine Hundred and Twenty (920) Calendar Days From The Date of the Written Notice-to-proceed to Complete the Project in Accordance With the Conditions, Specifications and Provisions as Set Forth in This Contract. A Performance Bond in the Amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Sum, Conditioned Upon the Faithful Performance of the Contract in Accordance With the Contract Documents Shall Be Submitted. Such Bond Shall Be Executed on the Form Contained in the Bid Documents and Shall Be Solely for the Protection of County. A Payment Bond in the Amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Sum Shall Be Submitted. Such Bond Shall Be Executed on the Form Contained in the Bid Documents and Shall Be Solely for the Protection of Claimants Supplying Labor and Materials to the Contractor, or to Any of the Contractor's Subcontractors, in the Prosecution of the Work Provided for in Such Contract, and Shall Be Conditioned Upon the Prompt Delivery of Such Materials Furnished or Labor Supplied or Performed in the Prosecution of the Work. A Separate Maintenance Bond in an Amount Equal to 100% of the Total Contract Shall Be Furnished Prior to Final Payment as Security to Remedy All Defects Which May Develop During the Period of One (1) Year From the Date of Completion by the Contractor and Final Acceptance of the Work Performed in Accordance With the Contract Documents.
