Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Lower Moreland Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
As of January 2, 2024, project has not yet been awarded. This project involves the structure replacement of Moredon Road over Pennypack Creek. The proposed bridge replacement is a two span composite P/S concrete spread box beam bridge. The structure will have two 95'-0" span lengths and will be placed at a 85 degree skew. This structure width will provide for two (2) 11'-0" lanes, two (2) 5'-0" shoulders and 42" F-Shape concrete barriers with architectural treatment on both faces.
