Renovation of a fire / police facility in Ogden, Utah. Working plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Proposals shall demonstrate the contractor's ability to perform the following services: - Ability to provide physical security measures to all damaged areas including but not limited to: secure or protect exposed roof areas, doors and/or windows before leaving scene with appropriate material such as plywood, tarp, etc. - Ability to provide security, including installing temporary fencing, caution tape, to secure the affected property. - Ability to provide heavy rescue/structural services when needed - Ability to provide complete damage assessment and engineering, if needed, as well as ability to provide additional services such as clean-up or restoration. - For doors that need to be secured, contractor to provide a lock hasp and combination pad lock for each; for fencing, contractor shall provide a chain and combination pad lock when needed. The code shall be provided to the authority having jurisdiction or their designee. - Seal and Secure services are to be provided to affected party at no cost to the fire departments of Weber and Morgan Counties. - Cities or fire departments reserve the right to hire a contractor if seal and secure services are required for one of their facilities. Ogden City Corporation is accepting proposals for a contractor(s) to provide post incident services to seal and secure residential and commercial structures at the request of the Ogden City/Weber County/Morgan County Fire Departments. The specific cost and service requirements are identified in the proposal packet. Ogden City encourages and welcomes bids from small, local, women and minority owned businesses and other disadvantaged business enterprises. Ogden City reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal as it best serves its convenience and/or is found to be in the best interest of the City. Ogden City/Weber County/Morgan County Fire Departments reserve the right to issue contracts to multiple vendors.
