The Melbourne Airport Authority (hereinafter referred to as "Authority or MLB") is soliciting responses of sealed bids from qualified Bidders for the services of terminal lighting and electrical repairs, per specifications in Appendix A: Specifications. Proposals must be submitted as set forth in the Selection Process and Evaluation Criteria included in the Contract Documents. Separate contracts will not be awarded for parts of the system. A statement of Inspection Form indicating site visit must be included with the proposal. A Public Construction Bond (Performance and Payment Bond) in a sum equal to 100% of the amount of the Contract awarded, will be required prior to execution of contract. No proposals may be withdrawn after the scheduled time for receipt of proposals, for a period of ninety (90) days. The work performed under this Contract shall be governed by the Federal Contract Provisions set forth in the Contract Documents, which include, but are not limited to, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) subcontractor participation, Equal Employment Opportunity requirements, and compliance with Federal Wage and Hour requirements (Davis-Beacon Act). To be eligible for award of contract, the successful bidder must submit, upon request and within five (5) business days after the bid opening, evidence of financial responsibility, experience, qualifications and satisfactory completion of previous projects, to the satisfaction of the Melbourne Airport Authority.
