New Orleans Regional Transit Authority seeks services for streetcar track geometry testing, including track strength, and rail profile. This project requires thirty-four (34) miles of track to be tested providing vertical wear, gauge face wear, and percentage of head loss. Testing results must be delivered electronically, and all work must be completed during the hours of 2200-0700. Leveling and Slewing Machine Model LNR529 • Track Guage: 62 – ½ • Petrol Engine Honda GX270 • Sel-Propelled and with remote control with 2 rail hydraulic clamps, 2 lifting rams and 1 slewing ram • Lifting power 15T • With sight boards Any questions or further information concerning this IFB must be submitted through online by 1:00PM on November 20, 2024. Only written questions submitted through Procureware site shall be considered official. All answers to questions shall be by formal addenda posted to the website under IFB 2024-026. The RTA is committed to utilization of DBEs on all federally funded projects toward attainment of the agency's established overall goal of 32%. No DBE goal has been established for this project as there are no subcontracting opportunities on this project.
