Plans call for the construction of a pickleball facility. Project includes, but is not limited to, demolition of existing tennis courts, paths, and sections of existing parking lot, construction of new pickleball courts, fencing, court lights, site furnishings, shade structures, site work, stormwater management, walkways, and landscaping. SCOPE OF WORK The Contractor will furnish all labor, materials, and equipment for the construction services of the Walter Outdoor Pickleball Court including, but is not limited to, demolition of existing tennis courts, paths, and sections of existing parking lot, construction of new pickleball courts, fencing, court lights, site furnishings, shade structures,site work,stormwater management, walkways, and landscaping (the Project) and all other work shown, described, and required by the Contract Documents (hereinafter the Work). This project will address the multi use tennis and pickleball courts, which currently allow for six courts where pickleball can be played and the multi-use basketball and pickleball courts, which currently allow for three courts where pickleball can be played. The County is committed to incorporating sound reduction measures as part of this project. The basketball court will be converted back to its original use. The Work shall be performed according to the standards established by the Contract Documents read together as a single specification. It shall be the Contractors responsibility, at solely the Contractors cost, to provide sufficient services to fulfill the purposes of the Work. Nothing in the Contract Documents shall be construed to limit the Contractors responsibility to manage the details and execution of its Work.
