As of December 30, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. This contract is also subject to the requirements of the West Virginia Contractor Licensing Act, Chapter 21, Article 11 of the Code of West Virginia. Contractor must be licensed in accordance with the Act at the time of the Bid. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Minority Business Enterprise Clause: The Contractor Must Use His Best Efforts to Carry Out the City of Wheeling's Minority Business Enterprise Policy. Specifically, the Contractor Must Utilize to the Greatest Extent Feasible, Minority Business Concerns Which Are Located in the County, Adjacent Counties or Within the General Trade Area.
