Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Goldsboro, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; for paving for a municipal facility; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; transportation facility; transportation facility; transportation facility; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

As of January 10, 2025, project is awarded to BRS Consulting but the amount is not available. The two structures are under separate building permits and located at separate properties, but are bid & treated as a single construction project. Properties are approximately 800' away from each other. The project will be administered by an authorized representative of the Town of Goldsboro. All communication will be through the Architectural Designer, Benjamin VanNest via BEN@RAUCHENG.COM. Please submit all RFI's and other communications to this email. Site: Town Hall includes no site work. Train Station Park includes stormwater management, grading, sewer & electric utility hookup, trenching of existing overhead power lines, new well drilling, site lighting, asphalt parking, concrete sidewalk, playground area, and building foundation. Town Hall Stabilization: Level 1 alteration - exterior masonry repairs & repointing, window & door replacement, roofing & gutters, exterior trim repairs, & exterior painting of an existing 2-story masonry building. Train Station Renovation: Repair & renovation of a historic 649 SF train station for use as a community gathering & events space and historic interpretation center. Scope of work includes new exterior stairs & ADA ramp, selective demolition, rough carpentry, insulation, roofing, architectural finishes, mechanical, electrical, & plumbing systems. This structure is registered under the Maryland Historic Trust inventory #CAR-112 - Goldsboro Railroad Station and will need to the SOI Standards for the Rehabilitation of Historic Properties. Relevant standards include: Scope of Work: Refer to the permit set of drawings for full scope of work. 1. General Conditions a. Contractor shall apply for all trade permits. Permit fees paid by Owner. b. Contractor shall provide dumpsters and remove all debris from the site/building. The exact location shall be with towns approval. c. Contractors shall provide portable toilets for use of all trades for the duration of work & shall be serviced regularly. d. Contractor shall provide temporary protection of existing structures and public areas / walkways during the duration of work. e. Contractor shall provide final cleaning. f. A site superintendent shall be on site when subcontractors are working.
