The scope of Work contemplated for the abovenamed Project includes various upgrades to the existing pump station, including replacement of pump equipment, valves, hoist, trash basket, lights, and access hatches, electrical controls improvements, as well as all other Work of any type or description necessary for contemplation of the Project, whether or not specifically described in these Contract Documents. All Work on this Contract shall be completed within 120 Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed. Contract Documents and Plans for the proposed Work, which have been prepared by Andrzej Kalisz, P.E. of the firm of T&M Associates, will be made available electronically or at the office of said Engineer at 11 Tindall Road, Middletown, NJ, 07748. Interested bidders must send an email request to Patti Sirico at PSirico@tandmassociates.com. The provided Bid Packet must be completed in the manner designated in the Contract Documents, must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the Bidder and the name of the Project on the outside and must be addressed to The Borough of Tinton Falls. Also, Bid Packets must be accompanied by a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company holding a Certificate of Authorization to do business in the State of New Jersey and either a Bid Bond or a Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price amount, except that the check shall not exceed $20,000.00. The successful Bidder is hereby notified that a Performance and Payment Bonds for the full amount of this Project is required. The award of the Contract for this Project will not be made unless and until the necessary funds have been provided by The Borough of Tinton Falls in a lawful manner. Please be advised that this Project is being funded through The Borough of Tinton Falls. The Borough of Tinton Falls intends to award this Project to the lowest Bidder whose Bid Packet complies with the requirements for the Project, provided that in the judgment of the Borough of Tinton Falls is reasonable and responsive, within available funds and in the interest of the Borough of Tinton Falls. The Borough of Tinton Falls reserves the right to reject any and all Bid Packets to the extent permitted by law. An award will be made, or Bid Packets will be rejected within sixty (60) Calendar Days after the opening of the Bid Packets, during which time the Bid Packets shall be irrevocable and unavailable to withdraw by Bidders, unless otherwise extended in the Contract Documents. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
