2025 Water Treatment Chemicals (January 1 thru December 31) Furnishing of all work and materials for consideration of Water Treatment Chemicals consisting of approximately: Hydrofluosilicic acid 7,000 gallons Chlorine 1 Ton cylinders 40 cylinders 150 lbs. cylinders 40 cylinders Polyphosphate 3,500 gallons Zinc Orthophosphate 10,000 gallons Sulfur Dioxide 1 Ton cylinders 5 cylinders 150 lbs. cylinders 5 cylinders Sulfuric Acid 40% 10,000 gallons Sodium Hypochlorite 12.5% NaOCl 46,000 gallons Sodium Permanganate 20% 9,500 gallons Aqua Hawk 301 375 gallons Aqua Hawk 375 70 gallons LPC 31 5,300 gallons The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: City of Blaine, Public Works Department, 1801 101st Avenue NE, Blaine, MN 55449. Bids will only be accepted from Contractors who purchase Bidding Documents as specified above and follow the instructions for filing bids electronically. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from other sources. Bids must be on the basis of cash payment for the work and materials, and no bid will be considered unless submitted via the electronic bidding service and accompanied by a bidder's bond, payable to the City, for not less than 5%, as a guarantee that the bidder will, within TEN (10) days after notification of the award of contract, enter into an agreement with the City and furnish a bond for the full amount of the contract as provided by law. This deposit will be subject to forfeiture as provided for by law. Bidder's bonds of the three (3) lowest bidders may be retained until the contract has been awarded and executed, but not longer than 60 days from the date of opening bids. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality therein, and to adjourn the meeting to a later date for the purpose of further consideration of the bids and taking action thereon. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days from date of opening bids.
