The Port of Bellingham is requesting interested engineering firms with Architecture and Engineering design expertise capable of producing design, permitting, bidding and construction management in accordance with FAA standards. The Port intends to select and enter into a contract with a single Consultant (firm or a team of firms), to provide services for a period of five (5) years for Bellingham International Airport. The substantial design costs for projects under this RFQ will be funded in large part by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) with the Port of Bellingham (Port) funding the local share. The projects include but may not be limited to runway rehabilitation, re-alignment of ingress and egress taxiways, signage and pavement markings. The projects are scheduled to commence after grant award, in January 2025 through 2030. The Port reserves the right, if it deems such action to be in the best interest of the Port to reject any and all submittals or to waive any irregularities or informalities therein. Any incomplete, false or misleading information provided by or through the Consultant shall be grounds for non- consideration. If submittals are rejected, the Port further reserves the right to evaluate and negotiate with the next ranked consultant in order of ranking, or reject all consultants and re- solicit for additional consulting firms.
