GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK The major work will consist of the following: 25.0 AC of clearing and grubbing, approximately 24,000 CY of excavation, erosion control, and other related items as depicted on the construction documents for the 108-lot development. The above improvements are a part of the "Plans for the Construction of Grading Improvements to Serve Frontier Phase 2A" as prepared by Pape-Dawson Engineers. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified or cashier's check acceptable to the District in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates within seven (7) days after the date the Contractor is notified. QUALIFICATIONS OF BIDDERS To demonstrate Bidder's qualifications to perform work, Bidders shall submit written evidence such as financial data, previous experience, present commitments, and other such data as may be called for in this contract document with bid. DEVELOPER/DISTRICT'S RIGHT TO ACCEPT OR REJECT BIDS Developer and Wright Farm Municipal Management District of Johnson County reserve the right to waive irregularities and to accept or reject bids. FUNDING Any Contract awarded under this INVITATION TO BIDDERS is expected to be funded from revenues generated from Developer funds and District Bonds and dedicated by the District to the work under this INVITATION TO BIDDERS.
