Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Huntersville, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; bridge / tunnel; and bridge / tunnel.
This project will repair and improve paving and structures along Torrence Creek Greenway from Cedar River Road to McDowell Creek Greenway at Summerfield Lane, a greenway trail totaling approximately 2.4 miles with six access trails. The scope of this project may include repairs/replacement of paved greenway trail, bridges, boardwalks, and wayfinding. As of November 20, 2025, this project is in the conceptual phase. Construction is not expected to begin until 2028.
