Site work and new construction of a swimming pool in Matane, Quebec. Working plans call for the construction of a 42,550-square-foot, two-story above grade swimming pool; and for site work for a swimming pool.

Construction of an aquatic complex in Matane. The new 3,940 m2 facility will be located on Saint-Rédempteur Avenue near the Cégep de Matane. The ground floor will house a six-lane, 25-meter-long sports pool with one-meter springboards and fixed bleachers with a capacity of 120 seats. There will also be a 220 square meter recreational pool, water games and universal locker rooms. TIMELINE: Financial assistance of nearly $20 million was granted by the Government of Quebec. The awarded professional consultants are updating the previous version of the project design in accordance with current requirements and available funding. According to the owner's preliminary scheduling a tenders for the general contractor will be published in early 2025. The first shovel of earth could be done in the summer of the same year in order to deliver the building in 2026.
