This Request for Proposal (RFP) is an invitation by Slemon Park Corporation (SPC) to prospective Proponents to submit proposals for professional services to complete a Building Condition Assessment and engineering life cycle analysis of the 265 residential housing units ranging from one-bedroom to four-bedroom homes located in Slemon Park, PEI. SPC requires architectural, electrical, mechanical, and structural assessments of the buildings to assist in the prioritization and scheduling of maintenance, and long-term capital planning. The primary deliverable is a comprehensive report detailing the condition of a representative sample of the buildings various structures, equipment, and basic infrastructure. The report should also include recommendations and a basic framework for Asset Management routines, procedures, and monitoring. No Respondent may claim any advantage from any error, inconsistency, or omission in this RFP. Award of Work December 6, 2024 Report Submission March 14, 2025 The proposal submissions shall consist of three (3) bound hard copies of submissions and one (1) electronic copy, saved as a Portable Document Format (PDF) either on a USB flash drive or electronically submitted. Electronic submissions will also be accepted on condition the hard copies are provided within 3 business days of the submission date and that the electronic and paper versions are identical. It is the Proponents sole responsibility to ensure their proposal was received, either at the physical address set out above or electronic copy by the closing time.
