Renovation of a multi-residential development in Montreal, Quebec. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
Reference number: 20031013 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2024-12-23 The OMHM is issuing a public call for tenders to repair the envelope, balconies and main entrances and replace all the windows at Habitations de la Vérendrye: Building 101 (44 units) 7225, 7235 and 7245, boulevard De La Vérendrye, 7215, 7225 and 7235, boulevard Monk and 7230, 7240 and 7250, rue Beaulieu. Building 201 (34 units) 7165 and 7175, boulevard De La Vérendrye, 7220, 7230 and 7240, boulevard Monk and 7215 and 7225, rue Briand. Without limitation, the scope of work includes: - Renovation of the exterior walls of buildings by complete replacement of masonry around the patio doors on all three floors; - Occasional masonry rework and repair on the rest of the building; - Brick demolition in the main entrance alcoves on all three floors and addition of light coating; - Complete replacement of free lintels; - Replacement of existing balcony structures and bridging; - Complete replacement of balcony railings; - Complete replacement of patio doors, front doors and windows; - New concrete slab and concrete bearing at main entrances; - Add awnings above each of the entries. The work will be carried out at De La Vérendrye, two 3-storey residential buildings in the South-West borough. Built in 1972, they have a total of 78 dwellings for families and single occupants, with a wood structure and brick cladding. The facing of the buildings is brick masonry with conventional masonry anchors (rabbets).
