As of January 3, 2025 project was awarded to Connolly Construction Inc, awarded amount is $104,992.50. This project will include the replacement of the 72-IN influent manhole, two 60-IN lagoon manhole lids, 10 valve replacements, 450-LF of 10-IN lagoon line cleaning and televising and six air release valve replacements throughout the City of Washburn. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Iowa Code Section 26.8, as security that the successful bidder will enter into a contract for the work bid upon and will furnish after the award of contract a corporate surety bond, in a form acceptable to the Jurisdiction, for the faithful performance of the contract, in an amount equal to 100% of the amount of the contract. Contractor shall substantially complete the project by (no later than) June 30, 2025. Black Hawk County Board of Supervisors does hereby reserve the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to enter into such contract, or contracts, as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the jurisdiction This project will include the replacement of the 72-IN influent manhole, two 60-IN lagoon manhole lids, 10 valve replacements, 450-LF of 10-IN lagoon line cleaning and televising and six air release valve replacements throughout the City of Washburn.
