Site work and environmental remediation for a road / highway in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Conceptual plans call for environmental remediation for a road / highway; and for site work for a road / highway.
Swan Lake Railway ROW (APEC 2, APEC 3 and APEC 7) contaminated site remediation project. APEC 2: Excavation and off-site disposal of 1,900 m³ PHC impacted soils. APEC 3: Excavation and off-site disposal 6350 m³ PHC impacted soils and 260 m³ lead impacted soils; Risk management works including risk based remediation of sediment and pore water impacted by metals (As, Pb, Se and Zn) in a portion of APEC3 wetland areas. APEC 7: Excavation and off-site disposal of approximately 12,710 m³ of PAH impacted ballast material. Phase II/III ESA of section 18 land and the area known as the wetlands see figure 2. Remedial Action Plan (RAP)/Risk Management Plan (RMP) for APEC 7. TIMELINE: An RFP for Project Management Services has been awarded. A future RFP for engineering design will be issued in 2025. Updates may be available late summer 2025.
