The Town of Francis invites proposals from qualified vendor for the supply of new manganese greensand pressure vessels for its Water Treatment Plant. The existing system, consisting of two 42-inch manganese greensand vessels, has surpassed its operational life and requires replacement. The scope includes design, fabrication, supply, delivery, start-up services, commissioning, and testing work necessary to furnish a fully operational Greensand Filter system. The equipment that is to be provided for the greensand filtration system includes, but is not necessarily limited to: 1. Filtration Processes: a. The filtration processes shall consist of mechanical and electrical equipment including valves, timers, pressure filtration tanks, piping, and other components and accessories for reliable operation. Refer to Appendix D for WTP layout. b. The Supplier shall provide recommendations for filter sizing that complies with Water Security Agency design criteria. Each filter shall be capable of meeting the projected max day demand.
