**As of December 27, 2024, this project has been awarded to Grace Environmental Services, awarded amount not available.** Project Information In general, the project consists of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary to install approximately 3,500 water meter registers, transmitters, and meter box lids. The District will supply the registers, transmitters, and meter box lids. Existing plastic meter box lids in a non-traffic location will have a hole drilled through the lid to accommodate the mounting of the transmitter. Meter boxes located in private driving or public walking areas with non-plastic lids (metal, concrete, etc.) will be replaced with a new lid supplied by the District with a pre-molded hole for mounting the antenna. It is recommended that bidders familiarize themselves with (1) the general, local, and site conditions that may affect the work; and (2) secure such additional or supplementary examinations, investigations, tests, studies and data concerning surface or subsurface conditions that may affect the work. Each bid must be accompanied by either a certified check, cashier's check, or bidder's bond made payable to the Cambria Community Services District for an amount equal to ten percent of the bid amount as a guaranty. Guaranty will be forfeited to Cambria Community Services District if the bidder to whom the contract is awarded, fails to enter into the contract. The Cambria Community Services District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or waive any informality in a bid. The District specifically reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any or all bids, to re-bid, or to waive inconsequential defects in bidding not involving time, price or quality of the work. District may waive any minor irregularities in the bids. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to bid opening but not afterward.
