No questions will be taken during any other time This project consists of replacing aging 6" and 8" water mains with new 12" water main between Grove Street and Euclid Avenue along US 20. The length of this project being approximately 2,500 feet. New water service lines will be installed to existing water meters. A bid security must be submitted with the bid. The bid security shall be in the form of a Certified check, a Cashier's check, or an Irrevocable Letter of Credit for an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid; OR a Bond for 10% of the AMOUNT of the bid. The successful BIDDER will be required to furnish a Contract Performance Bond in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total price bid for the complete work, said Bond shall be that of an approved surety company authorized to transact business in the State of Ohio and shall be underwritten by a surety that is listed on the most current Department of the Treasury Circular 570, "Surety Companies Acceptable on Federal Bonds" Construction Cost: $1,178,634.19 Completion Date: 100 Days from Notice of Award Questions by prospective bidders concerning this project should be directed to the City Engineer, Kevin C.
