The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: site work and paving for a road / highway. Assembly Bill 219 Requires Companies Hauling or Delivering Ready-mix Concrete to Register With the Dir as a Public Works Contractor. Description: the City of Oakland Seeks Bids for as-needed Paving Services. Typical Paving Projects at Various Locations of City of Oakland Consist of Pavement Rehabilitation, Pavement Reconstruction, Base Repair, Slurry Seal, and Crack Sealing; Installation, Removal and/or Replacement of Concrete Sidewalk, Curb and Gutter, Concrete Curb Ramps; Removal and Installation of Traffic Striping and Other Pavement Markings; Installation, Removal and/or Replacement of Speed Bumps and Flexible Delineators / Channelizers; and Other Associated Work. Upon Establishment of the Contract, Work Orders Will Be Issued Including Specific Project Related Scope and Time of Completion. a Contract Days: 2 Years Liquidated Damages:$1,000 Per Calendar Day for Each Work Order Assignment Bonds: 10% Bid Security; 100% Payment and Performance Bonds Oakland-certified Local Business Requirement: the Local and Small Local Business Enterprise (L/slbe) Requirement for This Project is 20% Minimum Participation Excluding Specialty Items, if Any (See Sections Ii.f, Ii.s and Iii.a.6). The 20% Participation Requirement Must Be Met With a Minimum Participation of 5% Small Local Business Enterprise (Slbe). Where Very Small Local Business Enterprises (Vslbe) Participation is Evident, the Level of Participation Will Be Double-counted Towards Meeting the 20% Requirement. Bid Discounts Will Also Be Applied to the Adjusted Requirement.
