Work Included: The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials and equipment necessary to furnish and install all site preparation as required by the Drawings and Specifications. The work under this section includes but is not limited to: disposal of waste fencing materials, waste vegetation, demolition debris. The Contract Documents require that all work be completed within 90 Consecutive Calendar Days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. Failure to complete the work as prescribed shall be considered as a Breach of Contract and subject to Liquidated Damages which are $100.00 per day. Each Bid shall be accompanied by an appropriate guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond made payable to the City of Aurora in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid. Original bid bonds do not have to be mailed; however, each bidder should maintain the original on file should the City request it at a later time. The City of Aurora reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive informalities and irregularities, and to accept that bid which is considered to be in the best interest of the City.
