As of this time it is unknown if and when project will rebid.** The City of Vassar is soliciting proposals to demo the (8) Silos owned by City of Vassar located at 112 N. Sherman Street, Vassar, MI 48768, and remove all debris. - Demolish (8) silo structures and (1) truck unloading building; (4) large and (4) small, as shown during walkthrough. Demolition to include all silo components, with foundation remaining. - Remove dump hoppers and below grade equipment. - Create holes in the remaining slabs to allow for drainage. - Abandon remaining concrete foundations and fill with concrete yielded from the demolition process. - Provide 4" of ground cover over remaining concrete foundations. - Remove and dispose of all remaining debris from silo demolition. - Provide fencing, signage, and other requirements to restrict site to Authorized Personnel Only during demolition process.
