Renovation of a medical facility in Toronto, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.

UHN is issuing this RFP for the purpose of soliciting Proposals from interested Proponents for the provision of services and supplies to replace two (2) Fire Pumps at Toronto Western Hospital. The Work is to be performed from the contract award date (anticipated to be January 2024) for a period of 6 months. This project involves the comprehensive replacement of two existing fire pumps and associated electrical components at TWH to ensure system reliability and compliance with fire safety standards. The objective is to install equivalent UL-ULC-FM-approved Aurora horizontal split case fire pumps that meet the specifications of the existing pumps and to upgrade the fire pump controllers and other essential components. The work includes the removal of outdated equipment, replacement with modern, compliant parts, testing, certification, and training for UHN operations staff on maintenance and testing procedures.
