Site work and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Canmore, Alberta. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Railway Avenue Central, at Railway Avenue and Main Street. Scope of work includes civil, landscaping and electrical. Civil work consists of demolition of existing infrastructure, replacing existing watermain and sanitary sewer, storm infrastructure replacements/renovations, constructing concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter, red concrete bike path, asphalt mixed use path, asphalt road, regulatory paint markings, and signage. Landscape scope includes planting, street furnishing, and site restoration. Electrical work includes supply and installation of streetlights, traffic signals and associated hardware. TIMELINE: RFP from general contractors closed in early 2025 however a contract was not awarded due to insufficient bids submitted. At this time, no tender has been re-issued. Project may be followed if approved to bid. Coverage of this report is discontinued at this time.
