Water and Stormwater Pre-qualifed Contractors The purpose of this pre-solicitation effort is to prequalify contractors for the City's Water and Stormwater related construction efforts for all projects not exceeding $2,000,000. This Pre-qualified pool of contractors will be the only contractors who can submit offers for upcoming Water and Stormwater Projects that require Prequalification. Prequalification Letters will be issued for three (3) years with renewal for two (2) additional one (1) year terms, unless sooner terminated as permitted herein. Waterline projects include construction of new or replacement water mains, services lines, and appurtenances. Projects include labor, materials and equipment to complete all aspects of waterline construction including pre-construction meeting, initial and on-going erosion control, installation of valves, valve actuators, water main, and service line replacement, hydrant replacement, line removal, line abandonment, replacement of landscape, site cleanup, and maintenance of erosion control measures as vegetation is reestablished. Emergency repair service may be necessary for repairs to water main breaks, road cuts, landscaping, hydrants, valves, etc. Repaving of roads, and the replacement of curb and gutter and/or sidewalk, must be consistent with City of Roswell ordinances, is also included as a requirement of projects when applicable.
