The Western Virginia Water Authority (hereinafter referred to as the Authority) is requesting sealed bids for bulk chemicals at four (4) Water Treatment Facilities. It is the responsibility of the Bidder to check the Authority's website for any addenda that may be issued prior to the Bid Opening. Bidder must acknowledge all issued addenda on Bid Form. Failure to do so shall be grounds for rejection of the bid. The Authority shall provide the mechanism for the evaluation of all information received and the final determination of responsible offertory. The Authority reserves the right to waive informalities and irregularities and to accept or reject any or all bids. The Authority reserves the right to procure from State Contracts when it is determined that these contracts are in the best interest of the Authority. CONTRACT PERIOD: The contract period for qualified bidders will be six (6) months for all chemicals. The Authority reserves the right to renew the contract for up to one (1) bid cycles, one (1) year total, without the need to pre-qualify again, if both parties are agreeable. The Authority reserves the right to request from the bidder a separate manufacturer's certification of all statements made in the proposal. The Authority may request any or all bidders to provide proof of experience, ability and financial standing.
