Reference Number 0000282167 Pricing Lump sum Question Deadline 01/06/2025 Feasibility Study for First Nations community infrastructure projects that promote community transition to net zero energy use. UNSM's Capacity Development department supports member First Nations communities to develop capacity in governance and programs by facilitating knowledge transfer through capacity building, training, workshops, and other tools; by providing advisory support to build community capacity as requested; and based on the individual and collective needs of UNSM member communities. UNSM is seeking qualified consultants to submit proposals for the completion of a feasibility study for the five UNSM member communities of Membertou, Eskasoni, Potlotek, Wagmatcook, and We'koqma'q. The successful consultant will provide services to complete a feasibility study which involves assessing the current energy systems, infrastructure, and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions profiles of each community to identify opportunities and strategies for reducing emissions and transitioning to sustainable energy systems. Consultants must demonstrate their qualifications and professional experience including their areas of expertise, a summary of related past projects, and their experience with energy systems and emissions reduction in Indigenous communities. Consultants must demonstrate how they will incorporate community knowledge and ensure that the recommendations align with the values and priorities of Mi'kmaq communities.
