Design- Hiawatha/Springton Water Extension Project. Consulting Engineering Firms Interested in Providing Professional Services for the Design and Implementation of a Water Extension Project Serving the Communities of Hiawatha and Springton, Mercer County. The Selected Firm Will Work Closely With Lashmeet Psd, Region I Planning and Development Council (Region I Pdc), and All Other Project Team Members. Procurement of These Services Shall Be in Accordance With West Virginia Code Chapter 5g and Federal Register 2 Cfr 200.320. Consultants Interested in Being Considered for This Project Must Submit Detailed Qualifications, Including Technical Expertise, Management and Staffing Capabilities, and Related Prior Experience. Professional Services Will Include, but Are Not Limited to: (1) Preparation of Preliminary Environmental and Design; (2) Final Design; (3) Construction in Accordance With All State, Federal, and Local Regulations Pertaining to the Project; (4) Preparation of Bidding and Contracting Documents; Assistance With Bid Evaluation and Selection; (5) Periodic Monitoring and Inspection of Construction Activities to Ensure Compliance With Design Plans and Specifications; (6) Review and Approval of Contractor Pay Estimates; (7) Preparation and Delivery of Final "as Built" Drawings in Gis Format(Shapefile, Geodatabase, Etc.) With Data Georeferenced to and Assigned Real-world Coordinates and Accompanied by Comprehensive Descriptive Metadata; (8) and Any Other Services Needed by Lashmeet Psd for the Successful Implementation of the Project. Project Funding: Attention is directed to the fact that this project may be funded through multiple sources, including but not limited to the Abandoned Mine Lands (AML) program and the West Virginia Infrastructure and Jobs Development Council (IJDC), and other federal, state, or local sources. Lashmeet PSD will afford full opportunity for minority business enterprises to submit a show of interest in response to this invitation and will not discriminate against any interested firm or individual on the grounds of race, creed, color, sex, age, handicap, or national origin in the contract award.
