Renovation of a power facility in Bloomington, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.

** As of January 24, 2025, project was awarded to MPI Solar , with no awarded amount. ** As of 1/10/2024: No awarded bidder yet. Bloomington Housing Authority (BHA) and Summit Hill () will accept electronic proposals for the following separate projects. Arlington Commons Solar System Installations Project SCOPE OF WORK: BHA desires to install solar systems on multiple buildings at the Crestmont apartment complex, and is accepting proposals for houses, as defined in the project documents. These two project are being funded by grants from the City of Bloomington. The funding amount is of $200,000 for each project. The estimated start date for Crestmont Solar is February 2025, with completion by June 1, 2025. Solar for Arlington Commons houses are to be completed as houses are erected until funding is expended, or the funding agreement expires. Contractors may inspect the site and submit questions to rmoore@blha.net no later than December 18, 2024 at 1:30 pm. Each proposal must include a bid guarantee, equivalent to five percent (5%) of the proposal amount, in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check. Detailed proposal requirements will be listed in the Project Documents. BHA and reserve the right to reject any and all proposals, and to waive irregularities. Proposals are to be good for a minimum of ninety (90) days. A contract will be awarded to the proposer that provides the most advantageous proposal. Proposal scoring criteria is in the project documents. The successful Proposer is required to furnish an Assurance of Completion and insurance as stated in the Project Documents. Contractor and all sub-contractors will be required to comply with all applicable Federal, State and Local regulations, codes and requirements. The work to be performed under this contract is subject to the requirements of the Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. BHA requires a drug-free and weapon-free workplace. A current Affirmative Action Plan and registration on SAM.GOV will be required. Disadvantaged, WMBE, Veteran Owned, and Section 3 businesses are encouraged to bid.
