Eleva Mill Pond Dredging The Village of Eleva reserves the right to retain the deposits of the three (3) lowest bidders for a period not to exceed 30 days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 30 Days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. Bidders Proof of Responsibility must be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders will be required to provide performance and payment bonds of 100 percent of bid amount. The Village of Eleva reserves the right to reject any and all bids, without cause, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interest of the Village of Eleva. The Project includes the following work: Maintenance Dredging project includes excavation of sediment from the Eleva Mill Pond and transportation/depositing of sediment at a fill site. The approximate quantities needed are for 11,000 cubic yards of common excavation (compacted in place), transportation to the fill site, and one tracking pad. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bids shall be on the forms provided for that purpose and per the Contract Documents prepared by CBS Squared Inc. identified as "Eleva Mill Pond Dredging". No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
