Public notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the West Morris Regional High School District (the "District") for the Partial Roof Replacements at West Morris Central HS Project - PSA Commission Number 9538WMC-Roof (the "Project"). All work shall be in accordance with the Project Documents prepared by Parette Somjen Architects, LLC, 439 Route 46 East, Rockaway, NJ 07866. All bids submitted shall bear the name and address of the Bidder and shall be endorsed "Partial Roof Replacements at WMC Project." Bids received after the above date & time shall not be accepted. Bidders must email their request in writing. Note that it will take at least one (1) full business day to gain access to Project documents as a registered plan holder. Project information is also available on the Architect's website. The District will award a single contract for the entire Project. Therefore, bids are to provide a lump sum price for the entire Project--all trades, all inclusive. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction ("DPMC") in one of the following trades: C066 - RoofingMembrane-EPDM Or C069 - Roofing-Urethane Bidders shall also either be prequalified for, or include documentation for prequalified subcontractors for the following trades: C030 - Plumbing C032 - HVACR C047 - Electrical In addition, to the above, if the Bidder is not DPMC classified as (C066) - Roofing - Membrane - EPDM or (C069) - Roofing - Urethane, the Bidder shall enter into a subcontract with a prequalified subcontractor DPMC classified as (C066) - Roofing - Membrane - EPDM or (C069) - Roofing - Urethane, however, said documentation shall not be required to be submitted with its bid. Pursuant to N.J.S.A 34:11-56.48, et seq., bidders and their subcontractors are required to be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and to possess a current Certificate by said Department indicating compliance prior to the time and date that bids are received. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A 10:5-31, et seq., and N.J.A.C 17:27, et seq. The Scope of Work for the Project is determined by the complete construction documentation, including all addenda thereto issued during the bid cycle, and the full Scope of Work is not limited by the brief summary of the Work provided here or in the Division 01 Summary of Work section, and including any Summary of Site Work section for projects involving exterior site improvements. Such "summaries" are issued to provide Bidders with a basic understanding of the general intent of the Project, and as such, the summaries are not exhaustive, all-inclusive listings of project scope. The absence of any specific detail in an offered summary does not remove such element from the Scope of Work presented by the complete document set. B. The Scope of Work includes the following: 1. The project includes, but is not limited to, the replacement of selective existing roofs with spray foam applied roofing systems and EPDM roofing systems, as indicated in the drawings.
