Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Melissa, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
The project consists of the construction of a new Fire Station (approximately 13,000 sf) to be constructed upon the 90 acre City owned property known as Melissa Lake Park and generally located at the southwest corner of Liberty Way and Throckmorton Road. The scope of services for the Project is intended to provide a complete and useable facility for the City which can be put into operation immediately after acceptance by the City. The City also intends to determine if it is cost effective to construct a separate warehouse facility adjacent to the Fire station for other municipal purposes. Anticipated construction schedule: Anticipated Construction Start- April 2025 Anticipated Completion - Third Quarter, 2026 The City of Melissa invites the submittal of statements of qualifications in order to select a Construction Manager at Risk for the new Fire Station #2 construction project for the City of Melissa. All requesters will be added to a recipient list to receive any future correspondence and/or addenda related to this RFQ.
