Reference Number 0000371058 Dallas County is soliciting this request for qualifications (RFQ) for professional architectural and engineering (A/E) services to establish a 5-year term contract. The firms must have the experience, capability, and track record to provide creative solutions to challenging architectural and engineering problems. The County has at least 46 different owned properties and the buildings are all at different stages in their life cycles. Among those is one of the largest jails in the country, Lew Sterrett, which provides unique challenges when facility updates are necessary. The professionals assigned to Dallas County projects should have familiarity with government work and have the ability the ability to think outside the box. Each respondent's qualifications will be evaluated based on the published criterion. The County may award contracts to up to twelve (12) of the highest ranked respondents. Of the twelve firms that are selected at least 3 of them will be firms with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) as a primary discipline and at least 2 will be firms with structural and building envelope restoration as a primary discipline. During the contract term, the County will issue work orders to selected firms with executed agreements as determined by the Dallas County Facilities department. Purchase Type Duration: 5 years
