Cooksville & Iggy Kaneff Park Expansion and Redevelopment. There are several parks that make up the entire park expansion and redevelopment: Cooksville Park P-071, Cooksville Common P-293, Queensway Trail P-361 and Iggy Kaneff Park P-028 all connected by the Cooksville Creek. This project aims to comprehensively develop all individual parks and create a cohesive Central Cooksville and Iggy Kaneff Park that serves both for the community and as a special destination in Mississauga. TIMELINE: Plans are conceptual. Design and solicitation of public feedback is expected to continue through 2025 and into 2026. Tender and construction anticipated 2027, pending funding and approvals. Further update spring 2026.
