**As of February 6, 2025, project was awarded to Scott Wampler Construction Services, awarded amount is $347,333.50. Estimate: $390,000 New waterline to replace an existing line along W 8th St. The improvements will consist of approximately 1,375 linear feet of 6" water main, valves, related surface repair and service connections, tie-ins and all associated appurtenances. Substantial completion: 60 consecutive calendar days from Notice to Proceed Final completion: 75 consecutive calendar days from Notice to Proceed Liquidated damages: $500 per day City will acquire TxDOT permit prior to construction. Existing water system does not have adequate valving. This project includes insertion valves and line stops as shown on the construction plans.
