Site work and new construction of a civil project in Aubrey, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

Estimate: $3,402,000.00 The City of Aubrey Rockhill Water Line project consists of furnishing all necessary materials, machinery, equipment, superintendence, and performing all work required for furnishing all materials, labor, supervision, tools, equipment, and all incidentals required for the construction of the Rockhill Water Well project. The project consists of, but not limited to, drilling, construction, development, and testing of a 500-gpm municipal water well, approximately 1,650 feet in depth, 16-inch diameter steel surface casing, 10-inch diameter stainless steel blank/screen casing, 6-inch carbon steel column piping, gravel filter pack well screen, submersible pump & motor, piping, valves, and well head sealing slab, as shown on the drawings, along with necessary appurtenances. Award to the successful bidder will be made according to the factors listed in the Proposal of these Specifications. The successful bidder must furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract price from a Surety Company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as Surety. Should the total contract price be less than $25,000.00, no performance bond or payment bond will be required. Bidders are required to submit a cashier's or certified check issued by a bank satisfactory to the City of Aubrey, or a Bid Bond (with proper Power of Attorney) from a surety licensed to do business in the State of Texas, payable without recourse to the City of Aubrey, in an amount not less than five (5%) percent of the total amount of the proposal submitted to insure that the successful bidder will enter into a contract and execute all necessary bonds within ten (10) days after notice of award of the contract to him. This bid security must be included in the bid envelope for the bidder to be considered responsive. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bonds as described in the bidding documents. Questions Deadline: Tuesday, December 10, 2024.
