Renovation of an educational facility in Norwalk, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The City of Norwalk is requesting bids for the South Norwalk Elementary School Project Phase 2: Furnishings, Fixtures and Equipment (FF+E) & Technology. Project Location: 1 Meadow Street Ext., Nowalk, CT 06854. The project consists of a new 85,997 square foot two-story structure in Norwalk, CT to provide space for the City of Norwalk for 682 students in grades PK through five. The project nomenclature for the two stories is "Main Level" and "Upper Level," with the "Main Level" having direct means of egress to the exterior. The work associated with this contract is for Phase II furniture, fixtures, and equipment for the facility. Provide furniture, fixtures, equipment, and technology equipment as identified in each bid package and all drawings to support the renovated elementary school as indicated in these Contract Documents. Bid Deposit Required: If Yes, Amount Required: 10% Successful Bidders Only: Performance & Payment Bond Required: If Yes, Amount Required 100% Question Deadline 11/27/2024 at 2:00 PM ET All questions concerning solicitation must be directed, via e-mail to Sharon Conners, Purchasing Agent, at sconners@norwalkct.gov. HARD COPY SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 2:00 PM 12/12/2024 All furniture and equipment to be fully installed and approved prior to August 8, 2025.
