Site work and paving for a civil project in Tucker, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Lewis Road at Rock Mountain Blvd Operational Improvement Project++ . This work generally entails grading, demolition, asphalt paving, curb and gutter, storm line installation, striping and all related materials. A 5% bid bond is required. DBE's are strongly encouraged to submit a bid but no DBE percentage is required.100% Payment and Performance Bonds will be required on this project. All questions regarding the bid documents shall be made via email to CID Project Engineer; Larry Kaiser, PE, at kaiser@co-infra-services.com. The deadline to submit questions is no later than 5:00 PM; December 2, 2024. Project is jointly funded by the City of Tucker and the Tucker Summit CID. Contractors submitting a bid must be GDOT pre-qualified. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities The project shall be Substantially Complete within 60 calendar days from the date of notice to proceed. Liquidated damages of $500 per day will be assessed for each and every consecutive calendar day for which the completion of the project is delayed beyond the 60 calendar days; except for quantifiable weather events
