Question Deadline 12/11/2024 at 4:00 PM CT Dothan Police Department Administration CID Renovation, per bid specifications. The specifications, and included Scope of Work and Protocol, are an integral part of the Contract Documents relating to the construction of: Dothan Police Department CID Renovation as set forth in the BID and Agreement (Contract). B. The headings of the Sections of the Specifications are intended for the convenience of reference only and shall not be considered as having any bearing on their interpretation. C. The Project is located in easements, right-of-way, and property of the City of Dothan, Alabama in Houston County, Alabama and State of Alabama Highway Department. D. Major work items include in general, but are not limited to the following: 1. Installation and painting of gypsum wall board in specified areas or where existing wall board is damaged (new framing as needed). 2. The demolition and installation of new floor covering, floor tile, and wall tile in specified locations. 3. Install new cabinetry and countertops in kitchen area to match Phase 1 4. Removal of existing wallpaper 5. Repair and painting of existing wall board under removed wallpaper. 6. Installation of rubber base. 7. Demolition of existing cabinetry in the kitchen and bathrooms. 8. Install new vanities in men's (ADA) and women's bathroom to match Phase 1 9. Installation of new glass shower door. Alternate 1. Purchase and install new door according to the plans Alternate 2. Lab and File room conversion to a Copier and Digital room 1) Remove existing cabinets and counters 2) Remove existing wallpaper or wall coverings 3) Remove existing flooring 4) Paint walls and install new flooring to match renovation 5) Install new cabinets and countertops to match Phase 1 6) Cut and install new door opposite of existing. Alternate 3. Install new windows in accordance with plans E. The Contract shall be complete in all details, tested and ready for continuous and successful operation as included in the Agreement, shown on the Drawings, and as particularized in the Specifications.
