Reference Number : 0000369270 This solicitation is reserved for only application submitted/certified local small businesses timely registered with the County's LSBRP. This solicitation thus comes under County Code, sections 11B-17A; 11B-65; 11B-70 and Executive Regulation 21-05AM. Montgomery County, Maryland intends to use this solicitation to select, and contract with, two qualified firms to provide retrofit Lighting Services to various County facilities. It is the County's intent to contract with two (2) firms to provide Lighting Services for various County facilities, on a pre-determined basis. The two (2) contracts will be awarded as a result of this solicitation. Contractors will be awarded task orders on a rotating basis. The County reserves the right to add additional retrofit services which qualify for electric utility incentive programs. As specified in each Task Order, as found in the Notice to Proceed, the successful Contractor must provide comprehensive Lighting Services that may include but not limited to: o Lighting Audit o Schedule o Completed utility incentive application- must comply with utility program guidelines. o Lighting Proposal- must meet minimum required Montgomery County "Building Codes and Standards" and satisfy, when possible, the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) recommended foot-candle levels to ensure adequate illumination and safety for occupants. o Lighting photometric chart o Provide Special Insurance Documents (if necessary) o Provide material (i.e., lighting "parts") required to complete lighting project. (see "Attachment D. Cost Sheet") o Provide construction (i.e., labor) required to complete lighting project. (see "Attachment D. Cost Sheet") o Provide pre-construction and/or post-construction lighting walkthrough that complies with utility incentive programs (if necessary) o All work must be performed in compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local codes, laws, and regulations, and must be completed according to the terms explained in the Task Order.
